Great work so far with the thread, TC. Personally, I'm hyping AA, because I feel the game isn't going to be doing enough to stand out.

And after waiting for so many years... I confess my desire for the game is practically gone.

It's a very nice and well done thread thread, even if it's way too early, especially for a Blizzard game. With such little known about Diablo 3, my HYPE is between AA and AAA. I'm on the fence until I get more playtime and information for a title that is sooo far away.

Anyways, I just came in here to check out the sweet badonkadonk Diablo 3 thread, my boy sterb is droppin, and wanted to drop in my two pesos on the HYPE poll. That was my only real point, to show some Hermit love and some Diablo love as a Diablo Fan. :P My only issue is that DRM Blizzard keeps pushin', but that's another story. :P

That DRM is the reason why I'm hoping it flops. I still don't see it scoring less than AA, but I'm still hoping it flops.

Is it bad that I'm kinda hoping that the servers end up being a complete mess when the review copies are sent out? The lack of offline single player has greatly irritated me.

AAA but I could see it getting AA due to certain issues players may have with the DRM.

I'm gonna play it safe and go with AA on this one.

The thread might be a bit premature, but I had some spare time this weekend and I figured I'd go ahead and make it as my foreseeable future is much more busy. Plus, the beta went (semi) public recently, and it'd be nice to ensure that there aren't a bunch of threads for that flooding the board.

As for determining the hype level, I think I'll take your advice and make voting by posting only. :)

It's an excellent thread...so fantastic job Sterb! You know how Blizzard rolls with their titles though, who knows when this game will drop, but it's nice to see Diablo 3 gettin' represented. :P

My personal hype is AAAA but the realistic hype for here would be 9.5.

I have been waiting 11 years for this game. I have re-played DII:LoD so many times. Every time the ladder resets, my friends and I pull an all-nighter and we see who is the first that can beat the game at each difficulty. It always feals so good starting from nothing and getting back to the point of having SoJs, Enigma, CoH, Hoto, Arach, War Travs, and all the other really powerful gear.

Looking forward to play this on my PS3 :D
